📖 More about the product
What is Hon Mirin?
Hon Mirin is a sweet Japanese rice wine used specifically in cooking. In contrast to ordinary mirin, it contains around 14% alcohol and gives dishes a subtle sweetness and depth. Its uses range from classic Japanese recipes to modern fusion creations.
Why HINODE Hon Mirin?
The HINODE brand stands for authentic, high-quality Japanese cooking ingredients. The HINODE Hon Mirin is made using traditional methods in Japan and offers an intense, balanced flavor profile. This premium seasoning ingredient is particularly suitable for demanding amateur chefs and professionals who value originality and quality.
Typical areas of application for Hon Mirin:
In addition to well-known dishes such as teriyaki or sukiyaki, Hon Mirin can also be used in soups, stocks and sauces. Due to the caramelizing effect when cooking, Hon Mirin is particularly suitable for glazed dishes and marinades that taste both sweet and savory.
Note: Hon Mirin is not a drink, but is intended solely as a cooking ingredient. Due to its alcohol content, it is unsuitable for children and pregnant women and may only be given to people over 18 years of age.
