📖 More about the product

What is miso soup?
Miso soup is an integral part of Japanese cuisine and is traditionally served with almost every meal. The base is fermented soybean paste (miso), which is known for its intense umami taste and long tradition.

Enjuku Miso – traditionally aged
“Enjuku” means “long-ripened”. This miso paste is fermented particularly gently, developing a deep, balanced aroma with a mild salty note. Hikari Miso is one of the most renowned miso manufacturers in Japan and stands for the highest quality.

Wakame algae – typically Japanese
Wakame seaweed gives the soup a subtle sea note and a pleasant texture. They are rich in minerals and make the soup particularly light and digestible.
